Turbine Vibration Laboratory is a scientific department of Moscow Power Engineering Institute. Laboratory was founded by Pr.Sc. Ascold Glebovich Kostyuk in 1960. For many years of working with turbine manufactures and power plants we have accumulated a great engineering experience.
Today we work in following directions:
Measurement and removal of turbine vibration.
Identification and removal of low-frequency (subharmonic and self-excited) vibration.
Optimization of alignments between rotors.
Identification of basic dynamic characteristics of turbine with calculations.
Examination of orbitally stability of rotor - plain bearing system with calculations.
Development of turbine vibration diagnostic systems.
Rotating machinery balancing.
Experimental and calculated analysis of pressure pulsation in the steam admission elements of a turbine instalation.
Vibration engineering consulting.
